|  What an amazing summer we have had!
I know it’s not over just yet, but fall will be here before we all know it. Thank you for your participation over the last few months. The meetings have been amazing and the networking has really picked up. We are at a record high of 84 members. Woo hoo! I have met several new industry professionals over the last few months and am very excited to meet new people in our industry and develop these relationships.
Gearing up for the rest of the year, your Denver NACE chapter has some exciting new programs and venues in store for you. We look forward to a CRAZY FUN teambuilding event on September 10th at The Curtis. It’s just a few days away, don’t miss out on building your business relationships! In October, we will be hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner at the JW Marriott in Cherry Creek. Your new Board will be inducted in November at a unique breakfast event at the Marriott City Center. December will be a great time for networking, holiday cheer, good food and games at Dave & Buster’s!
There are a few housekeeping notes I’d like to add:
Elections for your NACE board will take place during October and November. Please make sure to meet the candidates in September and October at the monthly meetings and VOTE! This is out first ever election as a new young organization and we need your voice. If you are interested or have questions regarding open positions, please contact any current board member or myself.

|  Meet Sophia Sandlin, Program Assistant with The Arrangers
Being a Colorado native I love the sunshine and everything to do with the outdoors! I root for all the home teams, am in the know for the latest fashion, can throw a football like you wouldn’t believe and am always smiling. Pessimism drives me crazy along with slow drivers and people that don’t do what they say they will. I thrive on knowing all the events going on around town and keep my schedule jam-packed. Conveniently, my planning hobby makes my career with The Arrangers DMC very enjoyable. Besides being a super model, a corporate event planner is what I want to be when I grow up! I love all the details that go into making an event successful. All the effort it takes is so rewarding when guests rave about the end result.

The National office has materials available to help make your student recruitment efforts go smoothly. Please contact me to receive the latest student membership brochure and application.
